Booking and Cancellation Policy

 

IZMIR SEFERİHİSAR – GREECE SAMOS and AYDIN KUŞADASI – GREECE SAMOS VOYAGE RULES

1. CHECK – IN

– In order to travel between Izmir Seferihisar – Samos and Aydin Kusadasi – Samos, the validity period of the passenger’s passport must be 3 months or more. (Passport validity period must be at least 3 months as of the date of return to Turkey from Samos)

– Passports older than 10 years are not allowed to enter Greece even if the validity period is appropriate.

– Passport and Visa are required to travel between Izmir Seferihisar – Samos and Aydın Kuşadası – Samos. Visa can be Schengen or “Gate Visa”.

– Passengers travelling abroad with a Republic of Turkey Passport are charged a fee per exit. The fee must be paid by the passenger before travelling. Fee payment can be made from contracted banks, online or at our sales office in Seferihisar Teos Marina.

– Passengers travelling from Seferihisar to Samos must be present at Seferihisar Sığacık Teos Marina Sales Office 1.5 hours before the departure time at the latest to complete check-in procedures.

– Passengers travelling from Kuşadası to Samos should arrive at Kuşadası Ege Port Sales Office 1.5 hours before the departure time at the latest to complete the check-in procedures.

– After passing through the Passport Control Point, the tickets are checked at the entrance of the ship.

– Passengers with tickets that have been cancelled, rescheduled or suspended for any reason cannot participate in the voyage.

2. SITUATIONS WHERE PERMISSION TO LEAVE THE COUNTRY AND ENTER GREECE IS NOT GRANTED

– Passengers with K.K.T.C. stamp in their passports are not allowed to enter Greece. Passengers who wish to enter Greece even though they have a K.K.T.C. entry in their passport are deemed to have accepted and undertaken financial and legal responsibility in advance. For this reason, ferry724 is not responsible for the situation of our passengers who cannot enter the country.

– In cases that are not caused by ferry724, judicial, administrative, visa, etc. and prevent the entry/exit of the passenger, the service contract is terminated and no refund request is accepted.

– Turkish citizens born in TRNC are not allowed to enter the country if their passport has the place of birth and TRNC (Kyrenia-KKTC etc.).

– If the Schengen visa is obtained from a country other than Greece, the traveller must first enter and exit that country in order to enter Samos.

3. PASSENGER TICKETS

– Our passenger must purchase the ticket with his/her full name written in his/her passport. The passenger ticket issued to the name cannot be transferred, resold to someone else and the name cannot be changed.

Ticket Return & Change:

– However, our passenger can suspend or reschedule his/her ticket 1 time provided that he/she notifies 24 hours before the departure time at the latest.

Open Tickets:

– Rescheduling of open tickets can be done if the requested voyage is available. In order to reschedule open tickets, ferry724 sales offices must be contacted at least 3 days before the departure. ferry724 sales offices are located in Sığacık Teos Marina in Seferihisar and Ege Port in Kuşadası.

– Open tickets not used until the last sailing of the season lose their validity. Open tickets must be used within the same season.

4. VOYAGE CANCELLATION / CHANGE

– ferry724 is obliged to fulfil the scheduled voyages for which it has not announced cancellation. ferry724 reserves the right to change the timetable and cancel the voyage in extraordinary and force majeure situations such as adverse weather and sea conditions, disablement of port facilities, strike, suspension of voyages by official authorities, etc.

– In the event that ferry724 cancels the voyage due to extraordinary and force majeure reasons, the ticket fee will be refunded to the passenger within 30 days. In case of voyage cancellations due to extraordinary and force majeure, ferry724 is not responsible for any expenses such as accommodation etc.

– In adverse weather and sea conditions, the ship captain may cancel the voyage or change the port of departure/arrival for passenger safety.

5. PASSENGERS WITH SPECIAL REQUESTS / PASSENGERS TRAVELLING WITH PETS

– Passengers with special conditions (allergy, illness, etc.)
